In A World Of Darkness...
Taylor Vincent Complete Bio

Taylor's early life isn't much to talk about....he just was.  He just went through the motions of school, and after high school graduation, not really having any drive to pursue more schooling or a career, he entered the military.  That was a bit more to his liking.  The officers told him what to do, everything was on a time schedule and well-layed out.  Taylor found himself to be very adept at electronics.  He became known to his commanding officers as an exceptional soldier; he did as he was told, didn't go out with the rest of the enlisted men when they went looking for a good time, was good with electronics, not to mention close-quarters combat and weaponery, and stayed to himself.
His actions may not have earned him the companionship of his bunkmates, but it earned him respect of he superiors...they made sure he got the best positions in the research and development section.  It wasn't just favortism though.. as he was always the best and most qualified man for the job as well.  He worked in the up and coming section of computers.  He worked with the SAGE system that was designed for air defence, and the TRADIC, and later on the Athena project (which was the ground guidance computer for the Air Force's intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).
The officers were not the only ones who noticed Taylor's loner behaviour and great promise.   A civillian worker that worked the night shift on the Athena project with Taylor.  "Why don' ya work daylight so ya can go out drinkin' wit' the rest of the guys?" the man asked Taylor one night.  Taylor's response was "I don't like being with a bunch of loud annoying people, I'd rather working alone..or nearly alone..."  It was at this moment the man knew that he had found his next childer.  But the time was not right yet, so the man bided his time.   Taylor was honorably discharged as a Staff Sgt. from the military 12 years after enlisting, after he was injured by a careless mistake made by another solider during a training exercise.
It was very shortly after this that the man who had been watching and waiting patiently for a year now, made his move.  He appeared at Taylor's door one night and told Taylor his life was about to change.  The Embrace was the most phenominal thing Taylor had ever experienced in his normally detached, emotionally distant life.  After which the man, who then introduced himself as Tonebias, threw 3 blood bags on the couch next to Taylor, said you're a vampire now...don't tell anyone of this...and DON'T go into the sunlight", and with that....he left. (as is common within the clan)
Taylor spent the next two weeks learning how to hunt on his own and handle his new-found senses and skills.  After Tonebias had decided this childer was indeed worthy of the clan he went back to him, and told him about his clan, the other kindred, and something called the Masquerade.

Taylor Vincent spent most of the next 30 years alone and with computers or working out.  He has a very profitable web design business, with the assistance of his retainer ghoul, and spents the rest of his time hacking and gleaning all the information he can from chatrooms and message boards..which he can trade with those who can afford it and training at the local martial arts facilities.

Taylor is currently looking for a new place to live after making enemies with the local Sabbat of his former city.  He hacked into their computer databases (the Sabbat of this town had kept their 'brothers' informed of sect activities on this very secure system) and  flooded it with slanderous images/messages. [Click here to view -Keep in mind..graphics were thrown together quickly just to leave a calling card, as it were].   Needless to say, the Sabbat was none too pleased.  So Taylor Vincent decided it was time for a change of venue.
